Frost Library, First Floor

A large group of students gathered in Moore last night after reading Trey Malone's note, to process and discuss. We are variously and terribly affected by what we have read. Thus we invite the campus community to a day of reflection, remembrance, discussion and response. We would like this to be a time and space to comfort and to care for ourselves and one another, together and alone, as we can and need.

Please come whenever and for as long as you would like.

Noon, Frost First Floor*: to plan action on the Freshman Quad.

1 p.m., Freshman Quad*: action--may be a vigil, speak-out and/or something else. We will decide when we meet at noon.

*Some students are choosing to miss class given the current overwhelming circumstances; others will come and go as they feel comfortable.

Also available:

--All day beginning at 8 a.m., Chapin: A quiet, safe space for personal reflection and conversation, open to all

-All day beginning at 9 a.m., Frost first floor: for public dialogue about the issues we are facing as a college community. All are invited. Come whenever and for however long.

Everyone who needs this time and space is welcome.
