Whether you're interested in studying abroad, on the fence about studying abroad or pretty sure you don't want to study abroad, the study abroad open house has something for you! Come grab some refreshments and listen to Amherst students share their study-abroad experience with you and answer any questions you may have about the process.
We have students who have studied around the world in locations like India, Jordan, South Africa, Germany and France, just to list a few. Not sure that study abroad will work with your major? Many of the students presenting found programs that fit their concentration of study while allowing them to experience total immersion in a foreign culture. Why study abroad? We'll have staff of the Study Abroad Office as well as student presenters who can fill you in on the benefits of and reasons for studying abroad.
Sure that study abroad is not for you? The diversity of study-abroad experiences among our students is proof enough that you can find a study-abroad program out there that will fit your skills and interests. No matter where you are in the decision to study abroad, we guarantee that you'll find something at this open house that'll help you make a clear and informed decision.
So come on by Morris Pratt Ballroom on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. for food and an informal presentation about real Amherst students' real experiences abroad.
This program is presented to you by the RCs of Morris Pratt Dormitory: Sarah Vickery '15, Joshua Russakis '13 and Talia Plummer '15.
