Seniors: Graduation is approaching, and maybe you don’t know what you’re going to do afterward. Let us help! Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 22, and Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for a SENIOR JOB SEARCH BOOT CAMP. You will spend two days taking action steps towards your goal of having a job upon graduation.
With the guidance and help from Career Advisors, you will put together all of the necessary components of a successful job search, including
--Writing an effective resume and cover letter
--Learning how to do thorough research of a company/organization
--Identifying people to network with and practicing how to network
--Preparing for interviews
We have room for only a limited number of participants on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask for a $20 deposit to register that will be returned upon completion of the program. (Please contact Debra Krumholz at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need a fee waiver.)
This is a two-day session, on Jan. 22 and 23 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and every student must attend both sessions.
