Join us for guest speaker Gus Speth's lecture as part of The Workshop in Environmental Leadership, a Five College leadership experience funded by the Thoreau Foundation. Speth is one of America's most renowned environmental lawyers and advocates. He co-founded the National Resource Defense Council (NRDC), where he served as a senior attorney before being appointed by Jimmy Carter as the chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality and serving as the dean of the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Speth's tremendous achievements and experience in the field of sustainability make him the perfect speaker to join us to look to the future of the environmental movement and what we can do as a community, and as individuals, to affect it.
