Guest Trainers:

Jeff Gang ‘09, Coordinator of The Green Life Online
Jeff graduated from the Green Corps class of 2011. With Green Corps, he organized grassroots campaigns to defeat Big Oil at the ballot box, challenge corporate control of the food system and defend the Clean Water Act-- all over the country! Jeff now works as the Coordinator of The Green Life, a startup nonprofit aimed at engaging and educating better environmentalists. He graduated from Amherst in 2009, in the first-ever class of environmental studies majors.

Anne Ditzler, Staff Development Director at The Public Interest Network
Anne got her start as an activist while a student at Tufts University, where she worked with the MassPIRG student chapter and ran summer canvass offices on the campaign for Toxics Use Reduction. She continued with the PIRGs as a full-time organizer in Madison, Wis., building up a newly formed state organization and running campaigns to strengthen the Clean Water Act. After attending seminary in NYC and training church leaders in fundraising and leadership development, Anne returned to her roots in the public interest movement. She now helps train and develop the next generation of activists and environmental leaders. She lives with her partner on a homestead in Belchertown, Mass.
