Music historian and cultural theorist Kevin Fellezs will offer a talk titled “Vital Transformations: Fusion’s Young Discontents” at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, in Room 3 of Arms Music Center. Professor Fellezs’ talk will explore the forgotten early years of famed jazz trumpeter Miles Davis’ pioneering jazz-rock fusion period of the 1960s and 1970s. The talk is free and open to the public.
