On Monday, Feb. 25, at 4:30pm in Room 100 of Clark House, Ann Pellegrini, associate professor of performance studies and religious studies at New York University, will present a paper entitled “Protesting Death: Snyder v. Phelps and the Space of Mourning.” This is the third presentation in a series of seminars that will take place this year on the theme “Law & Mourning.”

Professor Pellegrini is the author of "Performance Anxieties: Staging Psychoanalysis, Staging Race" (Routledge, 1997), and a new book, "Excess and Enchantment: Queer Performance Between the Religious and the Secular." In addition to teaching, Pellegrini is the director of NYU’s Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality.
