The Amherst College Humanists are a new campus organization, forming to unite a growing community of students who call themselves themselves secular, humanist, atheist, agnostic and/or freethinking.

We want to invite influential speakers, host panel discussions, perform community service, organize social functions and be activists in the name of humanism and reason.

Our first meeting will take place in the Morris Pratt Ballroom at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

If you value science, the separation of church and state and open dialogue...

If you care about the well-being and equal rights of all people, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, class or sexuality...

If you want to promote and defend humanist values on campus and beyond...

If you want to meet others who think like you do...

If you want to find out what the heck a "humanist" is...

Come and learn more about getting involved!

Fresh doughnuts from Glazed Doughnut Shop will be served.
