"Going into the Field with the Right Research Tools"

June 12, 2013 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (already occurred)

Are you planning to go abroad and hoping to collect information for your academic research? Are you planning to conduct interviews or take notes about your experiences? Will you make audio or video recordings or photograph your work for research purposes? Will you need to document the locations of people, places, structures, or artifacts? This workshop will help you gather the knowledge and tools you will need to stay organized “in the field,” whether you are going to Africa or across the U.S. or sticking close to home. Topics will be customized to fit your project’s needs.
