Ask Big Questions (ABQ) is a campus initiative by the Provost's Office. From Friday, April 4, to Friday April 11, 14 different one-hour dialogue sessions will be happening all around campus. Sign up to participate in one, and to discuss this month’s Big Question: “What do you need to learn?”
What is Ask Big Questions? It a pilot program that brings students, staff and faculty together in conversation. Big Questions are questions that do not rely on expertise and debates, but on wisdom, personal stories and experience. The goal of an ABQ dialogue session is to give you the opportunity to share and learn more about yourselves and the people you work and live with. During the first round in February, over 140 Amherst community members participated in asking the Big Question “When do you conform?” Now, join us for the second question! Our hope is that these dialogue sessions will and contribute towards meaningful connection, community and understanding at Amherst.
