Events & Calendars Music at Amherst Chamber Series: Alexander String Quartet

The Alexander String Quartet has been performing together for more than three decades and has secured its standing among the world's premier ensembles. The quartet is recognized for its cohesion, vivacity and virtuosic performances. In its first appearance in the Music at Amherst Chamber Series, the Alexander Quartet will play quartets by Haydn, Shostakovich and Schubert.

The box office for this performance opens on Monday, Feb. 11. Ticket prices are $28 for the general public, $22 for senior citizens and $12 for students. Amherst College students are admitted free.
