Francisco J. Momaldi, the Robert F. Kennedy Visiting Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School, will give a talk entitled "The 2012 Venezuelan Election: What’s Next for Hugo Chávez, His Country and Latin America?" on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. in Chapin 201.

Monaldi is a full professor at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion (IESA) in Caracas, Venezuela. He is the co-founder and director of IESA's Center on Energy and the Environment. He is a leading scholar on the politics and economics of the oil industry in Latin America and developing countries. He holds a Ph.D. in political science (political economy) from Stanford University.
