The Five College Center for East Asian Studies and the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations present a live webcast with Madeleine Albright, former U.S. secretary of state, and a lecture by Mount Holyoke Professor Jonathan Lipman, titled "From the Pioneer Valley to Schoolrooms in China: Smith, Mount Holyoke and the Rise of Modern China's Girls' Schools." CHINA Town Hall is a national day of programming on China involving 60 cities throughout the U.S.
