Events & Calendars "This I Believe" Lighting Event

This event is sponsored by GlobeMed and will take place on the Valentine Quad from 7 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 10. There will be readings of "This I Believe" essays related to global health, about core values and beliefs that different people hold about global health (inspired by a series on NPR). The essays will come from various students on campus and a few faculty members. During the event, short "This I Believe" statements written by students during tabling throughout the preceding week will be hung on Christmas lights that will be strung next to the walkways on the quad. Students, faculty and staff are invited come by and listen to a few readings as they come and go from Valentine at dinner time. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
