Malgorzata (Malgosia) Krasowska was an English and French major at Amherst College and then continued with graduate studies in comparative literature at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During college and graduate school, Malgosia studied in Paris, worked as an academic program support staff member in Florence and lived for a year in Warsaw, where she also taught English and Italian; she also interned at a journal and tried interpreting and translation.

After graduate school, Malgosia moved to Chicago, where she joined the Kellogg School of Management (KSM) as assistant director of admissions for the Executive MBA program. She traveled extensively through Central and Latin America and participated in building the KSM Executive MBA office in Coral Gables, Fla.

After 17 years in the U.S., Malgosia decided to move back to Poland and contribute to the growth of her homeland and the region. She became a specialist on intelligent scientific solutions by Thomson Reuters and immersed herself in the higher-education support efforts in Poland, Central Europe, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. Since October 2012, Malgosia has been working as executive director of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, an educational foundation based on a bilateral agreement of the U.S. and Polish governments.
