White Ribbon at Amherst is part of a worldwide campaign to end sexual violence and encourage bystanders to do something when they hear or see potentially violent situations. As part of this campaign we are asking Amherst faculty, staff and students to reflect on our own relationship to violence and remain mindful about our own individual agencies. In pursuit of the vision of a more respectful Amherst, we invite people of all gender identities, sexual orientations and gender expressions to Take the Pledge to "not commit, condone or stand silent about sexual violence and misconduct." Stop by the White Ribbon table to take the pledge, learn about campus resources and learn what steps you can take to Do Something when you see sexual violence and misconduct.
This event is sponsored by the Sexual Respect Task Force and the Peer Advocates of Sexual Respect.
