On Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30, at the Lord Jeffery Inn and the Alumni House at Amherst College, there will be a conference entitled “On the Conditions of Racial Reconciliation: Law, Justice and Social Change.” The conference will feature presentations from a number of distinguished scholars, including Valerie Cooper (Duke Divinity School), Kirstie Dorr (University of California, San Diego), Matthew Gutterl (Brown), Naomi Murkawa (Princeton), Osagie Obasogie (University of California, Hastings) and Carla Shedd (Columbia). The conference will explore questions associated with racial reconciliation and justice. This conference is being sponsored by the Charles Hamilton Houston Forum on Law and Social Justice and the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice at Harvard Law School.
