Bruce Kaiser, chief scientist at Bruker Corp., explains the process of X-ray fluorescent (XRF) testing using the Mead’s bronze sculptures by A. Phimister Proctor (1860–1950), famous sculptor of the American West. Dr. Kaiser will explain the tool’s value to the field of art conservation and how it is advancing our understanding of Proctor’s bronzes.
