The panel discussion focuses on who is "deserving" of health care, and how the framing of this issue in national policy has affected immigrant and undocumented families. It features Miriam Ticktin, associate professor of anthropology and co-director of Zolberg Institute for Migration and Mobility; Cristina Huebner-Torres, director of research and wellness for the Caring Health Center; and Leah Schmalzbauer, associate professor of American studies and sociology at Amherst College.
