Chakravarthi Ram-Prasad is a professor of comparative religion and philosophy in the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion, and associate dean for research in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, at Lancaster University, UK. He is the author of over 45 papers and six books, and his research focuses on Indian and comparative epistemology, metaphysics and philosophy of religion; religion and politics, especially foreign policy; South Asian religious identities in contemporary Britain; and the conceptual sources of modern Hindu life and beliefs.
