Cuba is a country few people from the United States have visited. Sarah Lawrence College in New York has a long-standing study abroad semester program at the University of Havana. Students take a core course in Cuban culture and society, an advanced Spanish language course and electives in the humanities, social science, visual or performing arts. Students with a minimum of four semesters of Spanish (or the equivalent) and an interest in studying in a country with a rich history are welcome to learn more about Cuba and the program. Join Prema Samuel, director of study abroad at Sarah Lawrence, for an info session to learn more. Pizza will be provided at this lunch information session.
