The Emily Dickinson Museum participates in Amherst Arts Night Plus on first Thursdays each month. Each month enjoy a pop-up art exhibit from 5 to 8 p.m. Open mic signups are from 5 to 6 p.m., with the open mic beginning at 6 p.m. and a featured reader to follow. Free and open to all!

Featured artist: Robert Masla
Artist Robert Masla will offer a demonstration of watercolor on Fredrix watercolor canvas from 5 to 6 p.m. on Arts Night, in addition to displaying an exhibition of his paintings.

Featured reader: Will Dowd
Will Dowd is a writer and artist from the Boston area. He earned a B.A. from Boston College, as a Presidential Scholar; an M.S. from MIT, as a John Lyons Fellow; and an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, as a Jacob K. Javits Fellow. His writing and art have appeared in numerous places, including The Rialto, Post Road Magazine and NPR.org. His collection of essays, Areas of Fog, was just released in November 2017 from Etruscan Press.
