Events & Calendars French Film Screening: "Mommy" (2014)

"Mommy" is a Canadian drama and coming-of-age film, directed by Xavier Dolan, that tells the story of a recently widowed mom of an unpredictable and sometimes violent teenage son. She struggles to raise him alone after he has been expelled from the latest in a long line of institutions. A peculiar new neighbor across the street offers her help, and together they find a new sense of balance and hope.

The film will be screened in French with English subtitles. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
