Fragmented Identities: The Gendered Roles of Women in Art Through the Ages presents works from a variety of time periods and media to examine the ways in which women have been depicted across the globe. Join us for an evening gallery talk with Alla Rosenfeld, curator of Russian and European art, to learn how these portrayals of women can pigeonhole their subjects into gendered roles, and in other cases challenge social constructs.
