Events & Calendars "Keeping the Beat": A Thesis Presentation by Josh Harmon '18

Please join Josh Harmon '18 and the Amherst College Department of French for an exciting event, Keeping the Beat: A Celebration of the French Military Snare Drum.

As the culmination of his thesis, Josh will be demonstrating the French snare drum technique and discussing its implications. He will screen his documentary film La poursuite du rythme (Keeping the Beat), accompanied with a live snare drum score.

The presentation will last 45 minutes, with a catered reception to follow in Fairchild Gallery (21+ must present ID).

Please note that no food, drink or bags are allowed in the Mead Study Room. All bags can be checked in the museum library.
