Events & Calendars State of the College Address

On Monday, April 23, at 7 p.m., President Biddy Martin will host the second annual State of the College Address, organized by Sade Green, AAS Senator for the Class of 2020. With the theme of "community", remarks will be delivered by former AAS President Aditi Krishnamurthy ’18, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Norm Jones, and Biddy Martin, who will discuss community and how the College can help fulfill its promise.

The State of the College Address was created by Sade Green ’20 for her Senate Project. As a Senator, one of Sade’s main goals is to enhance communication between the administration and student body. Sade also aims to create a more transparent student government.

The gathering is primarily intended for Amherst students, but faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
