After the Vigils: A Dinner Conversation on Violence Toward Religion

April 9, 2019 - 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm (already occurred)
Keefe Campus Center, Friedmann

In the wake of the Tree of Life synagogue and Christchurch mosques shootings, we feel compelled to gather - beyond vigils - to process, support, and create community. This dinner will feature small group conversations facilitated by Religious and Spiritual Life staff, as well as large-group sharing. Any members of the Amherst community wishing to seek or lend support around persecution or violence toward religious identity are welcome to attend.

Halal and vegan catering provided by Pita Pocket.
Sponsored by the Amherst Humanists, Interfaith Council, Muslim Student Association, Amherst Hillel, Remnant, Newman Club, Amherst Christian Fellowship, and Jewish Mammoths
