All are invited to honor the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising with a live performance by the Amherst College Choral Society. Join us for an evening of musical selections inspired by tunes that played on the jukebox at the Stonewall Inn in 1969 and to hear pieces by contemporary LGBT composers, with special guests Mari Esabel Valverde and Grey Grant, featuring the world premiere of "Drones for the In-Between Time."

This program is presented in collaboration with the Arts at Amherst Initiative, the Amherst College Choral Society and Amherst College’s Stonewall Committee. The Stonewall Committee is a college-wide committee composed of staff, faculty and students whose aim is to bring conversations recognizing and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and its legacies. The Stonewall Committee values and aims to center Queer & Trans Person of Color histories and labor; global histories of LGBTQA+/Queer activism and pride; and marginalized identities within the LGBTQA+/Queer community.

This event is free and open to all!
