Please join us for the opening of the exhibition One Scholar, One Work: Masterpieces from the Thomas P. Whitney Collection of Russian Art and a lecture by Professor Wendy Salmond (Chapman University), “Exploring a Modern Icon: Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin’s Mother of God and Child, 1922.” The painting is on view in the Gallery of the Amherst Center for Russian Culture, Webster 202.
