Are you interested in pursuing a career in diplomacy? Want to use your Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish or Portuguese skills to serve as a Consular Fellow? Curious about State Department internships or graduate fellowships?
Attend the U.S. Department of State Information Session and meet with Philip Beekman, the U.S. Department of State Diplomat in Residence for New England. Attendees will learn about careers with the department and how you can serve your country by working in any one of more than 270 U.S. embassies, consulates and missions overseas or in Washington, D.C.
Opportunities include Foreign Service Officers, Foreign Service Specialists, Civil Service professionals, internships and fellowships. Not just for political science, international affairs or languages majors; the State Department is also actively recruiting from the fields of business and finance, computer science and information technology, human resources, engineering and more. All majors welcome!
