Have you ever wanted to explore or learn more about parts of the finance industry? Do you want to gain a better understanding of the daily activities of particular roles in finance? If so, the Loeb Center's Spring 2021 Finance Speaker Series is a great way to hear from alumni in the finance industry about their companies, their roles and responsibilities, and how they work with other parts of the finance ecosystem or businesses.
Join Jarrad Zalkin '98, Managing Partner of TM Capital, as he walks through the investment banking deal process. He'll use a real-life example to help students learn how investment bankers put together the pitch process and execute a sell-side deal.
Jarrad's presentation will be followed by a young alumni panel of investment bankers. Amherst graduates from 2019 & 2020 (including Morgan Yurosek '20, John Ballard '20, Katherine Mendoza '19, and Greg Krisberg '19) who are currently working at bulge bracket, middle market, and boutique investment banks will join Rob Parker '21 for a candid discussion about what it's like to be an analyst.
Students will gain a strong appreciation for the roles and responsibilities and hear firsthand what life is like as an investment banker. Don't miss out on this opportunity to understand an investment banking transaction and learn from recent alumni in the trenches at investment banks.
