The Churchill Scholarship provides full funding (tuition, fees, travel, research) to 16 American students from participating schools to pursue a year of research/master's degree in science, math or engineering at the University of Cambridge. Must be seniors or graduates of one year. The session will feature the Executive Director of the Winston Churchill Foundation, Michael Morse, and three current/former Churchill Scholars, including AC's own Jamie Tucker Foltz '19 (Computer Science), Zoe Dietrich (Bowdoin, Earth Sciences), and Jesse Freeman (Williams, Mathematics). After a brief overview of the program, the three former Churchill Scholars will talk about their experiences, why they felt the Churchill Scholarship was the right fit, and how being a Scholar has shaped their trajectory. Attendees are invited to submit questions for the panelists to address during the Q & A.
