Events & Calendars Resilience in the Time of COVID: A Virtual Gathering for Amherst College Women of Color

Please join us for a virtual version of the Women of Color Brunch, an annual event that brings Amherst alumnae, students, faculty and staff together to explore topics that affirm and examine our lives, work and experiences as women and femmes of color. This year's program will focus on resiliency during the time of COVID and will feature a conversation and Q&A with Alissa Figueroa '06 and Arzoo Rajpar '22.
Alissa directs the Ida B. Wells Fellowship in investigative reporting for emerging journalists of color and is a 2020-21 Knight Wallace Reporting Fellow, through which she's producing a documentary about police reform in Baltimore. Following the talk, we'll join themed breakout sessions on topics including:

- Celebrating Joy as Women of Color
- Navigating the Job and Internship Market
- Finding Resilience One Year into the Pandemic

This event is open to all women, femmes, non-binary folks and other gender-oppressed people.
