Swift Skills Collection: Celebrate Others

When was the last time you highlighted a colleague for their good work? Why do we not build celebration into the culture of our groups? This session will focus on celebrating those around us as a tool for supporting comradery and community.

Mid-Year Check In 2020 Workshops for Staff

The Performance Management Process is intended as an opportunity for a supervisor or chair to have a conversation with their staff to review progress on the goals created during the last Performance Evaluation and the Mid-Year Check In. The Mid-Year Check In Training offers an opportunity to review the performance evaluation form, explores strategies and techniques for having a productive dialogue, and offers suggestions for how to prepare for the discussion and set goals. This workshop is also offered on Tuesday, November 17, 3:00 - 4:00 PM.

Waving Worry Goodbye: Strategies to Manage Anxiety

OHR Learning & Development invites you to a live webinar presented by the EAP, New Directions.
Anxiety can be an occasional visitor or a long-term guest. Research shows that most anxiety is best managed with behavior intervention. This training will empower individuals to assess their personal anxiety and integrate specific behavior practices to increase relaxation and calm.

Health Education Office Hours - Ask the Alcohol & Other Drugs Educator!

As part of the Department of Health Education’s weekly office hours, Ashley Netanel invites you to stop by and Ask the Alcohol & Other Drugs Educator! Come by Val Tent #4 in front of the Mead on Wednesdays between 1-3 p.m. to meet the AOD educator, ask any questions you may have about alcohol or other substance use, and pick up some free health resources and swag! See the calendar below for a schedule of specific AOD topics that will be highlighted during each week at Ask the Alcohol & Other Drugs Educator. Drop in to talk about the topics that peak your interest, or feel free to come during any week to chat about alcohol or other drug use, supporting a friend, recovery and sober curiosity, and wellbeing as a whole.

Note that Health Education Office Hours will be held as long as weather permits. In the event of inclement weather, that given week’s Office Hours/Ask the AOD Educator will be cancelled.
