Faculty and staff are invited to a virtual Write-on-Site over Zoom each Friday during the fall semester between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. Hosted by Professor of Art History Nicola Courtright, and CHI Fellows Ashley Smith and Sam Presnal.

Health Ed Office Hours with the Sexual Respect Educator

The Department of Health Education will be holding weekly office hours in the Student Activities Tent #2 in front of the Mead. Stop by to meet with with a member of the Health Education team, ask a question or get some free resources! Sexual Respect Educator Lauren Kelly will be available from 2-4 PM on Friday, September 18. Virtual Escape Room: Gold Rush

Looking for an opportunity to meet other students? 4 Gold Rush Escape Rooms are running next week! For nearly two centuries, the hope of gold has lured people to the hills of Northern California. No one was captivated more than Clyde Hamilton, a greedy gold prospector who loved to gamble. Clyde made too many bets with the wrong crowd and now he’s missing. You’ve been tipped off to where he stashed his gold.. but so has the mob. Find it first!

If you’d like to hear a wide variety of poets bravely sharing their work, be sure to tune in to our Festival open mic night! Following the open mic, participants will be treated to a poetry reading by festival headliner Franny Choi. Reader spots are full, but the audience is still open!

The 2020 Tell It Slant Poetry Festival: Remote Event

The Tell It Slant Poetry Festival (formerly the Amherst Poetry Festival) is a free event that celebrates the poetic legacy of Emily Dickinson and the contemporary creativity of the Connecticut River Valley and beyond.

This year’s festival will be held remotely; the schedule is now live and includes headliners Ada Limón, Jericho Brown, Kimaya Diggs, Franny Choi, Shayla Lawson and, as is tradition, the Emily Dickinson Marathon. Sign up for events through the schedule page!
