Fall Photo Collection Showcase

While this year may not provide the same fall traditions as in the past, The HR Activities Committee invites you to show off how you are celebrating the season. Join us for a Fall Photo Collection Showcase to present and talk about your photos of:

- Costumes! Do you and/or members of your family have costumes and no where to go? Get dressed up and snap a picture! We want to see pictures of you, your children, your pet, etc. in costume!
- Decorations! Did you pull out the decorations out of the basement to put out this year (bonus - you don't even need to dust them off if you are going with the Halloween theme!)? We want to see how you decorate your yard, your car (trunk or treat), your workspace, etc. for the season
- Nature! Share your photos of the leaves changing colors in your backyard, on campus, while you were on a leaf-peeping drive, etc.

If you are unable to join us live for the showcase, pictures can be sent to kwesolowski@amherst.edu with a caption to be shared.

Body image affects all of us, but does it affect all of us in the same way? Join the SHEs at "Don't Tell Me to Love My Body: Fatphobia and Body Liberation," a workshop led virtually by Isy Abraham-Raveson, M.Ed. She has a Master’s degree in sexuality education from Widener University and a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies from Williams College. Isy co-founded the organization YES! (Your Empowered Sexuality!), which provides intersectional, consent-based sexuality education to people of all ages. She has led workshops on fatphobia and body liberation at a variety of locations, including the National Sex Ed Conference, the AASECT conference, Harvard University, and Haverford College. Isy also facilitates trainings for parents on how to talk to their children about sexuality in such locations as the Trans Wellness Conference and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
