Writing for TV: Alumni Panel (featuring Sarah Walker '03, Jenna Lamia '98 and Leila Cohan Miccio, Smith College '05)

Join us for a mini-master class on pursuing television writing as a career. In this session, Amherst and Smith alumni will walk students through the step-by-step details of entry-level experiences, cultivating your unique voice, and understanding the entertainment industry.

This event is open to all but aims to specifically reach groups who are underrepresented in the industry-- women/trans/non-binary students, LGBTQ+ students, BIPOC students, FLI students, and students with disabilities.

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to offer Zoom office hours for staff and faculty as an opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and receive information on a variety of topics. We will review recent communications and important developments in the workplace as the semester progresses, and provide a resource takeaway to support effective communication within departments. Greylock Partners: Enterprise Software VC Firm Info Session & Networking

Greylock is a venture capital fund that focuses on early stage investing in enterprise and consumer software startups. Investments include AppDynamics, AirBnb, Dropbox, Discord, Facebook, Figma, Roblox, and more.

Join this virtual session with Yuliya Mykhaylovska to learn about opportunities for technical students at Greylock-backed companies, learn about newly-backed startups, and discuss building a career in tech.

Yuliya currently leads university talent programs at Greylock. Before this role, she managed the internship component of the Stanford in New York program, focusing on student career advising, professional development, employer relations, and alumni engagement. Prior to her role at Stanford, she was the platform manager at Lerer Hippeau in New York, a seed-focused VC fund.
