The Life Stories Lunch Series provides a forum to foster community through sharing stories of challenge, growth and meaning. At each lunch, a student, faculty or staff member talks about an aspect of their lives that may be meaningful to others, followed by questions and comments. Lunch is provided. Sponsored by the Counseling Center and the Wellness Team.

Faith and the Environment with Rabbi Ellen Bernstein

Environmental Rabbi Ellen Bernstein will be coming to help lead Hillel’s Shabbat dinner this Friday through a discussion on the connections between faith and the environment. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by dinner from Oriental Flavor. Come bring friends and learn about how faith can inform our understanding of the climate crisis! All faiths and environmental backgrounds welcome!
M@A Chamber Series Presents Leila Josefowicz, Violin, with John Novacek, Piano
An outstanding champion of contemporary music, Leila Josefowicz is the chosen interpreter of several leading composers including the late Oliver Knussen, John Adams, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Steven Mackey, Matthias Pintscher and Luca Francesconi. She performs works by Stravinsky, Janáček, Knussen, Kurtág and Ravel.

“Peace in the Home”
The Department of Theater and Dance presents Peace in the Home, a play written and directed by MacKenzie Kugel ’20E about coming together for love, for family. It immerses its audience into the hearts and minds of seven characters wrestling with what it takes for two families from different cultural backgrounds and faiths to create peace in the home, together. This play is made of familial trials and joys, of aging parents, of what is lost and gained when children grow up.
