Mammoth Week: Pre-Health Information Session

This is an information session about pre-health at Amherst, including the pre-med track, facilitated by Dean Richard Aronson and Professor William Loinaz. It will be a great opportunity for you to ask questions about health professions, academic course selection, and other issues, and to learn about our program, which aims to build community among pre-health students.

Join the RCT for a Mammoth Week Open House! Stop by and learn about Amherst's Resource Centers. We will take you on a treasure map adventure as you learn about the resources, services, and programs we offer, as well as meet the amazing staff! Food, music, raffle prizes and more! All are welcome.

Science Center Community Reception

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Science Center, Living Room/Outdoor Patio

Join us at the Science Center for a reception with science and math faculty, visiting professors, staff and student groups in the Living Room. Learn about department activities, enjoy a slice of pie and play some games.

“From the Archives” Exhibition Opening Reception at Frost Library

Local and international artists explore what it means to be inspired by research and archives. Working with a variety of materials, from institutional collections to the everyday ephemera found in the world around us, these artists recreate, draw inspiration and reinvent as a means to express personal stories and historical interests. The exhibition includes work from Linda Connor, Madeline Conover, Sara K. Lyons, Jen Morris, Tim Pinault, Laura Margaret Ramsey, Naaman Rosen, Annie Sollinger and Sara Smith.

Theater & Dance Auditions

The Department of Theater and Dance invites any and all students to audition for four upcoming shows. Many roles are available, and no preparation is needed! First-year and Five College students welcome! Just show up either night promptly at 7 p.m.
