Movement and Mindfulness Morning Workshops with Brenna Werme

OHR Learning & Development invites you to set the tone for your day by calming your nervous system and connecting with ease to your body and breath. These workshops will give you quick, easy tools to reset and release stagnant energy throughout your day.

The Department of Health Education will be holding weekly office hours in the Student Activities Tent #2 in front of the Mead. Stop by to meet with with a member of the Health Education team, ask a question, or get some free resources and giveaways! From 10 am to noon on Friday, Director of Health Education will be in the tent, come by and say hi!

Faculty and staff are invited to a virtual Write-on-Site over Zoom each Friday during the fall semester between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. Hosted by Professor of Art History Nicola Courtright, and CHI Fellows Ashley Smith and Sam Presnal.

Beneski Guided Visit (ON SITE)

“A Mammoth History”: Participants will explore the migration of mammoths into North America, a little about life in the herd, the extinction of mammoths, the discovery of the Amherst College mammoth, and the selection of the mammoth as the first official Amherst College mascot.
