Throughout history people have turned to spiritual practices to sustain them through difficult times. This month's topic is Praying the Hours. We will explore how to integrate prayer into the rhythms of our daily life, praying when we awake, prayer at meals, prayer in the comings and goings of the day, and prayer before we sleep. In this workshop we will both learn about prayers that have been prayed throughout the centuries, as well as create prayers for our own current life circumstances.
Join us for an informal space to meet the Muslim community, to check in and to share plans and ideas. Facilitated by Muslim Advisor Liza Lozovaya. Zoom links will be emailed to the MSA email list weekly and sent via group chat. Please email MSA co-chairs Basma Azzamok (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Ala Kaymaram (email@example.com) to be added to the group chat.
Join us as we come together to begin the 25-hour period of fasting and introspection with an in-person, socially-distanced prayer service. The service begins with the Kol Nidre prayer and includes prayers of forgiveness. Please sign up for a spot here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DA5AF2DA6F4C16-yomkippur
