Collecting Contemporary Art at the Mead - Student Proposals and Public Vote!

This year, the Mead’s annual Collecting 101 student acquisitions program is on hiatus. However, we’re partnering with students in “The Art Market” course, taught by Niko Vicario, assistant professor of Art and the History of Art to keep students involved in selecting the next work of contemporary art for the Mead. Join us on Zoom to hear students make proposals and vote in real-time for the artwork the Mead will acquire.

This acquisition is made possible by a generous gift from Scott Nagle '85, Mead Advisory Board member. This program is presented in collaboration with Niko Vicario’s “The Art Market” and the Department of Art and the History of Art.
