Television host, political commentator and author Rachel Maddow will give a talk on Saturday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in Johnson Chapel on the Amherst College campus.
This is a ticketed event and we are over-booked.
All ticketholders are asked to be in their seats by 6:30 p.m. Tickets are void after 6:30 p.m.
Waiting line directions
After 6:30 p.m., we will begin to admit people from the waiting line on the Main Quadrangle. When the event begins at 7 p.m., the people left in the waiting line will be directed to the alternative webcast sites on campus.
We will be webcasting the event to three other campus locations: Cole Assembly Room in Converse Hall, Stirn Auditorium at the Mead Art Museum and Lecture Room 1 in the Merrill Science Center. The webcast will be also be available to the general public.
The paperback edition of Maddow's book, Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power, will be available for purchase on the first floor of the Johnson Chapel building. The Odyssey Bookshop of South Hadley will be handling the sales. There will be pre-signed books available at that time.
