Summer Programs at Amherst College
We have continued to monitor the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on our campus and local community. With your and our community’s safety as our top priority, we have made the difficult decision to limit the number of external summer programs on campus this summer. Rather than our traditional portfolio of over 40 programs, overnight residential academic programs will be restricted to four external programs that complement the mission of the College, as well as an offering of non-overnight athletic programs. Conferences & Special Events (CASE) will be in contact with the programs that have been identified. A full list of these programs will be published on the summer programs website once all groups have been notified.
These restrictions do not apply to the College's academic summer programs, which will begin on June 13, with the exception of the on-campus Summer Bridge Program, which will begin on July 24. Additional information will be made available on The Office of Student Affairs website.
