A group of teenagers from the housing projects of the Paris suburbs practice a play for their French class. Krimo falls in love with Lydia, and he accepts the role of Arlequin to try to seduce her. But his timidity and awkwardness keep him from participating in the play, as well as from succeeding with Lydia.
