Catherine Infante expects her Ph.D. this spring from the University of Wisconsin. She received her M.A. in Spanish and Latin American studies from New York University in Madrid and her B.A. from Bethel University in Minnesota. Her Ph.D. dissertation on “Images at the Crossroads: Representing Christian-Muslim Encounters in Early Modern Spain and the Mediterranean” also reflects her minor in Arabic studies. Catherine is a specialist in Golden Age literature and the author of two articles.
