The death penalty was reinstated in the United States in 1976. Since then, for every 10 people that have been executed, one person has been exonerated and released from death row after spending an average of 10 years in isolation.
Join Amnesty International in watching "One for Ten," a series of short testimonies by death row exonerees, covering a broad spectrum of issues related to the death penalty and wrongful convictions.
Refreshments will be provided!
The screening is sponsored by Amnesty International and the AAS.
