Join the Women's and Gender Center, the Indigenous and Native Citizens Association, and the Sexuality, Women's and Gender Studies Department for a screening of the newly released documentary Warrior Women. From their website: "Warrior Women is the story of mothers and daughters fighting for indigenous rights in the American Indian Movement of the 1970s. The film unveils not only a female* perspective of history, but also examines the impact political struggles have on the children who bear witness." Learn more at

(*while "female" is used in this description, we are excited to view a women's perspective of this history)
