Case Interviews are a primary interview technique used by consulting firms, as well as private equity, tech, healthcare, and a variety of other industries. With internships and full-time recruiting ramping up, you can’t delay in your preparation. No matter where you interview, you'll want to be case interview ready!

Amherst College's Loeb Center has hired Management Consulted to host a 5-hour intensive consulting interview workshop. During this fast-paced, virtual workshop, participants will be challenged to think beyond simple frameworks, participate often, and learn to handle a variety of analytical problems. This workshop will enhance your ability to:

--Understand the case overview & structures: It’s one thing to “solve a case.” But can you do it in a way that drives to the heart of the business problem; makes clear, ranked recommendations; and convinces key stakeholders to accept your recommendation?
--Handle market sizing questions
--Practice mental/Case Math: You’ll learn to do a deep dive into case math, including (1) charts, graphs, and exhibits and (2) drawing level 1 and level 2 insights from the numbers.
--Go through a case & create structures: It is to enough to regurgitate frameworks you memorized from a book. An “A” candidate blends frameworks to best solve the business problem that is being asked. You’ll learn to break down level 1 vs. level 2 case structures and START STRONG.
--Create an ultimate case practice plan

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
The workshop will be taught by Jenny Rae. She graduated from the University of Virginia and obtained her MBA from Columbia Business School. She joined Bain & Company after traveling around the world, writing a book, working on financial public policy in South Africa, and sailing across the Atlantic Ocean. Since leaving Bain to co-found a tech company, she has advised over 45 different early- and mid-phase companies around the world.

Due to the generosity of alumni, this workshop is FREE to all Amherst College students. Register on Handshake by August 21st to receive the Zoom pre-registration link.
Space is limited to 50 students, and preference will be given to those graduating between December 2021 - May 2022. A wait list will be created once capacity is reached.
