While there is an expectation that students remain on campus in their final two semesters, students may petition the class deans to study away as a first-semester senior so long as their academic adviser(s) approve. Be sure to discuss your plan with your class dean AND your academic adviser at least two weeks prior to the April 16 deadline. Your class dean will share the process for petitioning and a GEO adviser can help you select an appropriate program.
